This company will pay you £250 to become a professional wine taster this summer
Vintage Roots is recruiting an official wine taster to help test some of the best organic wines this summer.
There’s nothing like a nice chilled glass of wine to enjoy during the summer sunshine – providing we get some, of course – and there’s a company that wants to pay you £250 to do just that.
Been drinking your fair share of wine in lockdown? Think you know a thing or two about your grapes? Fancy yourself as a bit of an expert now? Well, Vintage Roots – the UK’s leading organic wine merchant – is currently recruiting an official ‘wine taster’ to help the company test some of the best wines this summer and it’s an opportunity you probably won’t want to pass up on.
The company is inviting you to “put your feet up with a Pinot Grigio, or enjoy socially-distanced Sauvignon with friends” all from the comfort of your own home, and yes, as we mentioned, you’ll also get paid £250 for your time.
Just one lucky individual will be selected to spend the rest of their summer both tasting and reviewing a selection of organic wines – it doesn’t get much better than that, does it?
If this sounds like your idea of a dream summer job, then it couldn’t be simpler to apply.
To be in with a chance of winning, all you’ll need to do is post a picture on social media enjoying your favourite glass of wine – either with friends, or at home after a busy day – and tag @VintageRootsLtd on Facebook and Twitter, and @VintageRootsWines on Instagram using the hashtags #SummerWineTaster and #ComeWineWithMe.
Make sure you’re following all the accounts to be in with the chance of securing this dream job too.
The winner will then be sent the Rose Summer Six and Six Bottle Wild Thing Red and White Case, and will be asked to review the bottles for Vintage Roots.
You must be over 18 years old and a UK resident to apply.
If this sounds right up your street, then you have up until 31st August to apply for the role and the winner will be announced on 4th September.
You can find out more information via the Vintage Roots website here.
