If you’re after a holiday that’s “fit for a queen” this summer, then you can now book to staycation at a Buckingham Palace-themed caravan in the Yorkshire countryside.

It seems that HMRC will be welcoming the public for the first time as Parkdean Resorts have unveiled The Royal Caravan – an extra-wide opulent static caravan in Cayton Bay, Scarborough – that has been designed to look exactly like the Queen’s royal residence.

It allows you to “live like royalty” for the weekend from just £159.

The Royal Caravan is the first of its kind and has been created specifically to get people excited about staycationing here in the UK amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

This unique accommodation blends affordability with extravagant luxury and has a number of special features which include:

No expense has been spared either, with an alleged £50-100K spent on renovations, which have taken the caravan from a modest holiday home in the countryside, to one of the most exclusive holiday lets in the UK.

Every detail appears to have been been kept to the absolute highest standard as well, with each room full of authenticity throughout.

Due to popular demand, The Royal Caravan is currently operating on a first-come, first-served basis so you’ll want to act fast to secure your best available dates, and breaks at Cayton Bay start from £159 for a three-night stay.

That makes it just £13.25 per person per night.
