Former Love Island star-turned-musician Wes Nelson has revealed he has been rushed to hospital over the bank holiday weekend.
The 25-year-old singer said that he ‘randomly started to lose vision/consciousness’ while at home on Sunday.
His health scare has happened just days before he heads out on a UK tour, which includes a show at the Manchester Academy 2 on 12 May.
Wes said that he managed to make it to his neighbours’ house, who got him an ambulance.
He shared a selfie from hospital in his update to fans on his Instagram page.
Thankfully, the reality star-turned-musician has been given the all-clear to carry on with his tour, and wrote that he feels ‘LOADS better’ today.
Wes wrote on Instagram: “So yesterday I randomly started to lose vision/consciousness in my house!
“Managed to get to my neighbours’ who took care of me and got me to hospital in the ambulance.
“Won’t go into detail but we did a bunch of tests throughout the day and they’ve told me I’m all good now.
“I feel LOADS better today. Got the green light for tour tomorrow. See you in Glasgow.”
Wes rose to fame on the fourth series of ITV2’s Love Island, where he coupled up first with Laura Anderson and then bombshell Megan Barton-Hanson.
He’s since appeared on shows like Dancing on Ice, The X Factor: Celebrity, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and The Games.
Wes released his first single See Nobody with Hardy Caprio, which peaked at number three in the UK singles charts.
