The Manc The Manc - 18th March 2021

A huge family singalong show is coming to Manchester this May – featuring smash-hit songs from some of the most beloved kids’ movies of all time.

‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ features a live cast of sublime singers and live band performing incredible renditions of classic anthems from Frozen (Let It Go, Love is an Open Door); Sing (I’m Still Standing, Don’t You Worry Bout A Thing); Descendants (Queen of Mean, If Only); The Greatest Showman (This Is Me, From Now On); and Trolls (Can’t Stop the Feeling).

The show is set to take place in safe, socially-distanced surroundings at the Trafford Centre – with every family enjoying their own private dance space.

There will be two gigs in total – held over separate weekends on 23 and 29 May.

Producers have also promised that a donation will be made to NHS Heroes from every ticket sold.

Both gigs will be hosted at DriveINSIDE – which is being billed as the ‘world’s first drive-in theatre’.

Covered by Europe’s largest mega tent, the venue provides an immersive experience for 800 people and seating for every audience member.

Ticket-holders can drive into the arena and take a seat alongside their vehicle.

Unlike other drive-in venues, DriveINSIDE is crucially undercover – meaning you won’t have to worry about getting wet when the Manchester rain inevitably comes tumbling down.

‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ is being hosted by Tightrope Productions – a Manchester-based company specialising in innovative, large-scale entertainment.

Producer Daniel Wood said: “It is so important when we finally get back to some kind of normality to continue to support the incredible staff within the NHS.

“This is our opportunity to thank them all for their incredible work which has finally allowed live theatre to return!”

‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ will take place on Sunday 23 May and Saturday 29 May.

Shows start from 1.30pm.

Both events will take place at DriveINSIDE in The Trafford Centre.
