Seann Walsh, Fern Brady, Felicity Ward and James Meehan are all set to take to the stage for a unique night of live comedy at Victoria Baths this month.
In the first event of its kind for the iconic Grade II-listed building, Bath Bombs Comedy Club is presenting a night of live comedy next Wednesday 25 August featuring acts from the international circuit.
The gig will take place inside the historic Gala pool – with seating available both beside the empty pool and the original gala with a”magnificent” backdrop.
Meehan himself has travelled the world with his stand-up, as well as appearing on multiple TV and Radio shows.
“Manchester is the best city in the UK for stand-up comedy,” Meehan admitted.
“There is a wealth of comedic talent here and there are gigs to suit every taste [so] the idea behind Bath Bombs Comedy Club is to add something to the mix that offers a full line-up of top TV talent at an affordable price [and] the opportunity to work with Victoria Baths brought that extra something special.”
He added: “An incredible venue, an out of this world line-up, a dedicated bar, and all of it for less than a fiver per comic.”
The aim is to make the Bath Bombs Comedy Club a regular event on the calendar at Victoria Baths, with funds raised going towards ensuring the building can be preserved.
You can grab tickets for £15 here.
