The Village Screen is bringing its unique drive-thru cinema experience to Salford this summer – complete with food, drink and tunes.
Middlewood Locks will play host to the roving film event from July 29 – August 2; showing five classic movies on a huge 24ft inflatable screen.
Back to the Future, Thelma and Louise, Joker, Drive and Knives Out will all play on different dates, with attendees treated to DJ entertainment and food/drink services from the comfort of their cars.
Each vehicle will also be given its very own speaker system.
The Village Screen team are working with local food trader Shoot The Bull to deliver a delicious theatre-style menu for the event – which will cater for all dietary requirements.
Audiences will also be able to pre-order grub online up to 48 hours before each screening commences.
On-site toilets will be regularly cleaned and hand washing facilities will be available; with ample space left between cars to ensure social distancing.

A handful of free tickets will also be given out each night to key workers – and you can nominate your favourite Hero.
