Junkyard Golf is welcoming back players to its colourful cavern of putting, puns and cocktails next month.
First Street’s crazy golf drinking den has announced it will reopen doors from August 3 – with a few new rules being introduced on the courses to keep punters safe.
Players will now all need to reserve a time slot online before visiting, as there will no longer be any walk-up slots.
Drinks will continue to be served to tables, but in single-use cups and old school pick and mix will be available so customers can garnish their own cocktails whichever way they like, with all payments being cashless.
Sophie-Larissa Houghton, National PR Manager of Junkyard Golf said: “We are MEGA excited to be back!
“It’s been a crazy few months and we can’t wait to be reunited with our epic guests and team.
“We will be returning in full swing… junkyard style. Working round the clock to make sure we deliver the same mega madness as before but also making our yard super safe.
“We have reduced ticket capacity, time slots and now all tickets now must be pre purchased to monitor and maintain social distancing. We have also introduced a snazzy table service for cocktails.
“It’s been a difficult few months, everyone is in need of an escape and time to catch up with friends. Our team is committed to keeping all our venues clean, safe and super fun, making crazy golf epic!
“We are also offering a 50% off for all “Blue Light” services.”
Golfers will be able to choose from three different courses: The jungle-themed Pablo, the scrapyard-style Gary, and the haunting circus section known as Bozo.
Junkyard Golf will be welcoming back players seven days a week.
Opening hours will be 4pm ’til midnight Monday-Wednesday; 2pm ’til midnight on Thursdays; midday ’til 1am on Fridays and Saturdays; and midday ’til 10pm on Sundays.
