Get excited, people. Manchester’s first major food & drink event since lockdown has been confirmed for bank holiday weekend.
‘The Clubhouse’ – a socially-distanced, open-air event on the outskirts of the city centre – will take place all day long on Sunday 30 August.
Promoted as the first gathering of its kind in the post-quarantine climate, The Clubhouse takes inspiration from the Sunshine State’s famous city of Miami – drenched in pink and scattered with palm trees.
A wide selection of street food vendors and bars serving draft ales and cocktails will all be on site – with house and disco music soundtracking the festival.
Describing the occasion, representatives said it would be a chance to “let down your hair, forget your worries, and remember what it feels like to dance.”
Whilst organisers are currently keeping their cards close to their chest on an exact location for the time being, they have confirmed the event will be hosted on a previously untouched urban landscape – beginning at 2pm and running right through until 11pm.
Complying with the Government’s latest guidelines, tables are available to book in groups of four, five and six.
Those who have registered for early access will be able to purchase tickets 10am on Thursday 30
July.
General sale will begin at 10am on Friday 31 July.
