Sugababes announce first tour in 20 years – with original line-up

Daisy Jackson Daisy Jackson - 23rd June 2022

Sugababes have announced plans to head out on their first headline UK tour in two decades.

The trio – who were one of the biggest British girlbands of all time – went through a few line-up changes since forming in 1998.

But they’re now back to the original line-up and ready to take to the stage once again.

Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhan Donaghy said they’re ‘excited to come full circle’ as they announced their autumn tour dates.

Siobhan left the group in 2001, replaced by Heidi Range.

Muyta left in 2005, followed by Keisha in 2009, leaving an entirely new trio performing under the Sugababes name.

All three original members regrouped as MKS, before snatching back the Sugababes title in 2019.

And now the group will be performing in Manchester on 21 October, at the O2 Apollo.

The news follows the reformed band’s headline appearance at London’s Mighty Hoopla festival and days ahead of their appearance at Glastonbury Festival.
