Halloween is in full swing, and Warrington is letting us know with their latest spooky trail around an already well-loved lakeside location.

Partridge Lakes Fishery is embracing all things spooky this October.

There’ll be two wicked walks to make the most of, with the ‘Main Trail’ suitable for all ages and a ‘Terror Trail’ for anyone 14 and above.

The light-hearted ‘Main Trail’ lets you boogie with the ghoulies and take your time through the mystical forest with witches, skeletons, and spiders on a very magical family-friendly adventure, while the ‘Terror Trail’ features live actors lurking in the trees and greenery of the fishery.

From 7pm, this wailing walk is only available to over 18s, because this isn’t just any scary stroll, it’s a prison-themed event and follows the fictional story of some dangerous inmates who were buried in the murky waters by the officers who were in charge.

Younger guests who are after a chance to get their socks scared off have to be 14 and above, with a one-hour time slot from 6pm to 7pm every evening reserved especially for those terrifying teens.

The trails end with some delicious tasty treats to settle your stomach after being scared silly, as refreshments are necessary after all that frightening wandering, and with food options like the aptly named ‘Halloumination’, guests are in for a delight.

Drinks are also shaping up nicely, with some autumnal goodness added to your usual go-to tipples.

Walkers are greeted with an array of choices, from warm apple cider, and pumpkin spice lattes, to a winter’s night favourite, mulled wine, for those ready to start Christmas early, and if your heart rate is still racing, you can comfort your soul with a moment of relaxation round the firepit, roast marshmallows, and tuck into that utterly-irresistible gooeyness while gaining back your pride.

From 11 October to 1 November this year, you can make the most of this two-part attraction, with the event spanning almost a month.
