Muse are currently in the middle of a major world tour, and they’ve just announced today that they’ll be stopping off here in Manchester before 2023 is out.
And Manchester is one of only two UK cities the band is gracing with their presence too.
Following a string of successful UK outdoor shows over these past few weeks, which culminated this past weekend at the Milton Keynes Bowl, and with their massive ‘Will of the People World Tour’ having also been making waves and the masses over seas, Muse have today confirmed a handful of extra UK and Irish arena tour dates this autumn.
With tickets set to go on sale next week, the beloved Devon band will also be taking to the stage at Dublin’s 3Arena, and at The O2 in London for two shows too, as well here at the AO Arena in Manchester.
Since forming all the way back in 1994, the multi-platinum rock trio – which is made up of frontman Matt Bellamy, drummer Dominic Howard, and Chris Wolstenholme on bass – have released nine studio albums, sold over 30 million copies worldwide, and developed a hugely loyal fanbase.
Over the course of their two decade music career, the band has scooped a handful of awards – including two GRAMMYs, two BRIT Awards, and eleven NME Awards, among others.
Muse will be taking to the stage at the AO Arena to support their latest album, Will of the People, which was released last August and shot straight to the top of the UK album charts, making it the band’s seventh consecutive studio album to go to number one.
The critically-acclaimed album sold over 50,000 copies in its first week, selling more than the rest of the top 10 combined.
Muse will be performing at the AO Arena in Manchester as part of the ‘Will of the People World Tour’ on Friday 29 September, and ickets officially go on general sale next Friday 7 July at 9am.
They will be supported by Nova Twins on all UK and Irish dates.
