Some of the biggest artists of the 90s will be coming together for a nostalgic night of music at the AO Arena Manchester.
The 90s Baby gig will bring together pop stars including Aqua, Atomic Kitten, Liberty X, the Cheeky Girls, Five and B*Witched.
The huge pop show this autumn will see more than 20 legendary artists perform in front of thousands at the AO Arena.
Europop legends Aqua will be performing their multi-platinum hit Barbie Girl, while Eiffel 65 will bring their 90s anthems like Blue (Da Ba Dee) and Move Your Body back to the live stage.

The soundtrack to an entire generation’s birthday parties, Macarena, will be on the bill with Los Del Rio joining the 90s Baby line-up.

The sing-along vibes continue with Mambo No. 5 from Lou Bega, and Eurodance banger Freed From Desire from Gala.
Then it’s over to Heather Small, of M People fame, who fronted the Manc band when they won Best British Dance Act at the BRIT Awards in both 1994 and 1996.

Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton, two members of Atomic Kitten, will be back together to perform their hit singles such as Whole Again and The Tide Is High.
Irish girl group B*Witched, who were behind chart-toppers like C’est La Vie, Rollercoaster, and Blame It on the Weatherman, join the bill for the 90s Baby gig too.
2 Unlimited will perform their legendary acid-house track Get Ready For This, while Corona will be on stage with The Rhythm of the Night.

Italian dance act Whigfield will get everyone dancing along to Saturday Night, as will global sensations Las Ketchup, with The Ketchup Song (Asereje), which sold more than seven million copies.

One of the 90s biggest boy bands, Five, will be back together to sing Keep On Movin’ and Everyone Get Up.
20 years after they were brought together on reality TV show Popstars, Liberty X will hit the stage once again with their back catalogue of hit singles, like Just A Little and Got to Have Your Love.
Also on the bill at 90s Baby are British boyband Damage, who had success in the 1990s with singles like Forever – Lady of Soul and Ghetto Romance.

With more than 15 million record sales under their belts, 911 will be performing at the AO Arena, as will British girl group The 411.

Big Brovaz, who sang Booty Luv, will deliver even more nostalgia, and there’s a real blast from the past with The X Factor’s Chico singing his debut single It’s Chico Time.
True noughties icon Gareth Gates, who won Pop Idol in 2002, will be back performing his tracks What My Heart Wants and Go Your Own Way.
Three members of the S Club empire (Bradley and Tina from S Club 7 and Stacey from S Club Juniors) have now formed S Club Allstars, to perform some of their most iconic tracks.
British R&B girl group Honeyz, whose singles include Finally Found and Won’t Take It Lying Down, join the packed 90s Baby line up.

And finally, The Cheeky Girls will be performing their Cheeky Song live.
90s Baby will take over the AO Arena Manchester on Saturday 29 October.

Aitch wells up in trailer for inspiring Netflix documentary about Kilimanjaro charity climb

Mancunian musician Aitch has shared a brand-new trailer for his upcoming Netflix documentary charting his inspiring charity climb of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Tissues at the ready.
In case you missed it, the Manchester rapper took on the incredible challenge of summiting the highest peak in Africa last year, all on behalf of the Down’s Syndrome Association.
Sharing the first true glimpse at his moving mountain voyage, the Moston-born artist looks to reveal all in this candid chronicling of his fundraising feat.
Writing in the caption, the 26-year-old said: “Gracie, this is for you and the 40,000 other beautiful people just like you. Don’t Be Afraid!”
For anyone unaware of the context, a couple of years back, Aitch – Harrison James Armstrong, to give the Manc his full given name – announced that he would be embarking on the difficult journey that only 40-60% of trekkers ever successfully reach the top.
Beloved by upwards of 3.1 million followers across his various social media platforms, Grace has become a bit of a community icon and hero all of her own.

The inspiration for the 2022 track ‘My G’ with Ed Sheeran on his debut album, Close to Home, the song itself also ended up serving as a significant fundraiser, going on to complete a skydive over Old Sarum airfield with his dad, Mike.
A few clips have been shared on Aitch’s YouTube channel since he first confirmed he would be taking on ‘Kili’, such as his altitude training and other glimpses behind the scenes, but until now, we’ve seen very little footage from the infamous trail itself.
Set to drop later this month, Aitch’s Kilimanjaro doc, entitled Don’t Be Afraid, is releasing on Netflix on Sunday, 26 July – which also just so happens to be ‘Manchester Day‘; we’ll be making sure we don’t miss either of them.
He’s not the only local lad taking on huge obstacles for a good cause.

Oasis’ Wonderwall on the brink of becoming UK number one for first time ever 30 years after initial release

Could Wonderwall FINALLY become UK number one for the first time ever?
England may no longer be in the running to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup after being knocked out in the Semi Finals by Argentina, who claimed a 2-1 win when the two teams faced off in Atlanta on Wednesday night (15 July), but it looks like that hasn’t harmed Wonderwall’s trajectory to the top of the Official UK Charts.
Oasis’ most-streamed song of all time – and arguably their most famous – is currently sitting right at the top of Spotify’s Global charts, meaning it is in the race to become the official UK number one later today.
Despite the fact it never reached number one when it was first released back in 1996 as part of the band’s second studio album, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, the song has always had such cultural significance here in Manchester.
But after being adopted by the fans of the England men’s national football team during this World Cup, and belted out after every Three Lions victory this tournament, the song has taken on a whole new life.
Wonderwall was described at the time by the band’s lead guitarist and songwriter, Noel Gallagher, as being about ‘an imaginary friend who’s gonna come and save you from yourself’ – with the song’s title inspired by George Harrison’s solo album Wonderwall Music.
Sure, it has nothing to do with football (but neither did Sweet Caroline, let’s be real), but it’s an absolute anthem and one that’s become a symbol this year for the belief that football may have just been coming home after 60 years.
Win or lose, Wonderwall remains.
Unfortunately, while Wonderwall is in pole position as it stands, it’s up against some fierce footballing competition with the likes of Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds’ enduring anthem, Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home), hot on its heals.
Standing between both of them – and chart glory – is, of course, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s record-breaking duet, Rein Me In, which looks to retain the top spot as it eyes a 17th non-consecutive week at the summit.
It’s also expected that The Beatles’ iconic 1968 hit, Hey Jude, will also find its way into the Top 40 in honour of the tournament’s star player Jude Bellingham.
So, will Wonderwall reign supreme then? Will the Gallagher brothers have another reason to celebrate tonight after the success of last year’s historic Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour? We’ll have to wait and see.
