A raft of Manchester’s very best coffee shops are listed on a subscription service with a difference, supporting independents across the city.

Coffee Club can save caffeine fiends up to £350 a year on their barista-made drinks through discounts at thousands of cafes.

As well as its 25% discounts, the creators of the app are also about to host a massive giveaway of totally free coffee for Mancs.

A van will be driven around the city centre on 5 and 6 October – anyone who snaps it and scans the QR code will be able to claim a free drink from any Black Sheep Coffee locations in Manchester.

The freebies will be on a first-come, first-served basis on both Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 October – a perfect way to power through to the end of the week.

A giant Coffee Club-branded coffee cup will also be placed in a mystery location in Manchester.

Anyone who snaps a photo of the cup and shares it with the hashtag #sipandsavemcr, also following @wearecoffeeclub on Instagram, will be in with a chance of winning £500 worth of coffee vouchers.

Even if you miss out on the giveaways, Coffee Club can get you big savings on your coffee order.

There are 75 independent businesses around Manchester that are listed on the app, including Ditto Coffee, Foundation Coffee, Bold Street Coffee, Alvarium, Rollers Café, Home Café and Mustard, as well as big-name coffee chains such as Caffe Nero.

You can get 25% off coffee, seven days a week – and the subscription is just £2.99 a month, with a free 30-day trial.

You can find out more and download the Coffee Club app at coffeeclub.co.uk/manchester.
