Cult cosmetics retailer Space NK has been confirmed as the newest resident set to move into Manchester Arndale.
The leading UK retailer has just signed a 10-year lease with the city’s major shopping centre.
Known and loved by millions of shoppers all across the country for offering a wide range of products, including skincare, cosmetics, and even beauty ‘gadgets’ too, Space NK stocks more than 130 world-renowned brands.
Drunk Elephant, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury, and Diptyque are just some of the big names the retailer is known to stock, alongside a whole host of exclusive products too.
As well as already boasting a presence in Manchester city centre just off St Ann’s Square, Space NK will soon take over a new 3,313 sq ft space inside the shopping centre – with grand opening dates set to be revealed in due course, and keen shoppers being encouraged to keep their eyes peeled for announcements on this.
“Space NK is a great addition to Manchester Arndale, and further enhances our beauty range,” commented Steve Gray, who is the Head of European Retail Asset Management at the centre’s asset managers Global Mutual.
“It makes us the go-to place in the North West for all the best cosmetic brands,” he concluded.
Manchester Arndale is one of the UK’s largest city centre shopping centres, with more than 200 shops and restaurants from international, national, and local brands found inside.
More than 42 million visitors walk through its doors each year.
Asset managers Global Mutual and M&G are now said to be “in talks” with several retailers over the remaining space at Manchester Arndale, and say are looking to ensure it continues to offer a “diverse range” of retail, leisure, and eateries to help “attract visitors from the North West and beyond”.
The announcement that Space NK is opening a new store also comes as Manchester Arndale has secured new five-year lease agreements with Timberland and Jack & Jones.
It also follows the arrival of several other leading international brands inside the centre over the past 12 months too – including the likes of Nike, Moss, Manchester City, Dune, Clarks, Sunglass Hut, and French Connection.
