Man who planned to propose in Iceland does it in an Iceland instead

Iceland

Pretty much nobody is flying out of the UK right now as airlines scramble to put safety measures in place amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

This means the majority of planned holidays abroad by families across the country have now been cancelled or are very much up in the air (mind the pun).

However, spirits remain high with some people who have decided to re-route their holidays or just rebook them for 2021 – but this couple may have won the prize for best response to a cancelled holiday.

There's not much to break down here, but I'm going to do it anyway.

Basically, the couple above had a holiday booked for Iceland, in which the gentleman on the left was planning to propose to his lovely fiancé on the right.

However, due to the current climate, the holiday no longer exists so he proposed to her in his local Iceland instead. Oh, and to add to this great content, Iceland are paying for their impending honeymoon.

This is the social media activity I'm here for. Great stuff all around.
