Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has issued a public appeal for information and witnesses to an incident of racist abuse in Stockport.
A CCTV image of a man that officers would like to speak to has also been released.
Although not a great deal of information has been provided on the matter at this stage, GMP says it is currently investigating what they have called “an incident of racist abuse” that took place at McDonalds on Wellington Road South in Stockport on Sunday 6 November 2022 – with enquiries said to be ongoing.
GMP said officers are now in a position to appeal to the public for information, and they would like to speak to the man who is pictured below.
Officers believe the man “could assist with enquires”.
As well as appealing help to identify the man in the picture provided, police say they are also appealing for anyone who may have been in the McDonald’s restaurant at the time, or anyone who may have witnessed the incident, to come forward and provide any information they may have.
