Sugo Pasta Kitchen is reopening its Ancoats restaurant next month
Sugo's classic Italian dining experience has been sorely missed - and the news of their return is set to give the whole of Ancoats a boost.
Sugo Pasta Kitchen has confirmed it will be welcoming back customers for dine-in from August 4.
The Ancoats eatery has been shut since March but has continued to feed the neighbourhood throughout lockdown nonetheless – offering takeaway delivery services and posting recipes of their most popular dishes online for people to attempt themselves.
However, Sugo’s classic Italian dining experience has been sorely missed – and the news of their return is set to spark a jubilant reaction from the local community.
Like many other restaurants across Manchester, the pasta kitchen is enforcing a number of new measures to create a safe space for diners when they reopen.
These include:
- Advanced online booking only (booking available at restaurant entrance)
- Social distancing and reduced capacity
- A maximum booking size of eight people
- New cleaning protocols
- Segregated teams
- Disposable menus
- Cashless payments
Sugo’s Altrincham branch will remain closed for the time being, but will continue to operate a takeaway service on Deliveroo: Tuesday – Sunday, 4pm – 9.30pm.
You can pre-book a table at the Ancoats restaurant online right now via the Sugo website.
