These ‘One Foot Taller’ glasses are perfect for small people at festivals

The Parklife Weekender might just be over, but festival season is far from it, and we've just come across one of the best festival accessories ever.

A British inventor has created the perfect accessory for you to take to all of your chosen festivals this year, and if you're a bit on the short side, it's an absolute must.

The 'One Foot Taller' glasses may look a bit silly, but you'll be having the last laugh when you and your other 5ft friends finally get to see Take That perform on stage after going to their gigs since the early 90s.

The glasses, created by UK inventor Dominic Wilcox, were invented during a campaign which challenged designers to find innovative solutions to everyday problems.

And while it's unlikely that these things will make Dominic a millionaire, I can definitely see them being ironically purchased in their droves by hipster deniers who buy 90s tracksuits on Depop and pull white socks up to their knees.

A range of other inventions came to life during the campaign, including:

A miniature dog house for phones, for when you want a digital detox, developed by Hattie Newman; a sunscreen that changes to a vibrant blue colour on your skin when you're reaching burning point, developed by Eva and Marta Yarza and a "Mindfulness Pod" that lets you block out surrounding distractions and focus solely on the task in front of you, developed by Gaurab  Thakali.

And while there are no plans for most of the inventions to come to life, we see a wealth of potential with the 'One Foot Taller' glasses, and think Mr Wilcox should definitely put them into production before someone else does.

The campaign was part of Microsoft's Surface Extraordinary Solutions with all of the inventions being created with the help of Microsoft Surface devices.
