Tommy Fury has been denied entry to the United States ahead of his press conference with Jake Paul.
The boxer revealed in a video that he was stopped by Homeland Security at Heathrow Airport.
The 23-year-old was meant to fly to New York with his team to face rival Jake Paul ahead of their fight on 6 August.
Manchester-born Fury has insisted that he’s ‘done absolutely nothing wrong’ and doesn’t know why he’s been denied travelling to the US.
The former Love Island star said that his ESTA, a travel authorisation document, had been denied.
He told his fans in a video on Instagram: “I’ve come on here to set the record straight before anyone else tries to.
“Me and my team arrived at Heathrow this morning, ready for the press conference, ready to fly out.
“As soon as I entered the airport I got pulled to one side and I was told by the Homeland Security officer that was there, that my ESTA had been denied and I wasn’t able to travel to the USA for a reason that I apparently know.
“I can stand here and say I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong and I have no clue why I’m not allowed to travel to the USA.
“I have no clue why they would not allow me to travel today and neither does any of my team or my lawyers.
“I’m trying to resolve it. I’m in the middle training, guys. It’s a massive shock to me and my team.”
