The Northern Quarter is renowned for its vintage boutiques and eclectic cafes, but there was one that stood out as a firm favourite among patrons – Retro Rehab.
That was, however, until they ended their 15-year residence back in September.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Retro Rehab team decided to call it quits, closing down their beloved shop permanently.
But the good news is that this isn’t the end of Manchester’s favourite period dresses.
Retro Rehab has officially relaunched as an online boutique instead.
The brand is still focused on bringing customers the best of reworked vintage pieces, but now you’re able to find these from the comfort of your own home.
“It’s been a very steep learning curve,” says the owner of Retro Rehab, who was inexperienced with online boutiques before this venture.
“But I’m finally ready to share the brand new website with you.”
RR remains committed to selling affordable, quality vintage pieces that have been sourced from across the North West.
The items have been reworked to blend modern and classic styles – shipped in environmentally-friendly packaging using reclaimed fabrics.
The pandemic has forced a lot of other small boutiques to re-evaluate as shops are frequently forced to close and people are more reluctant to go out in public.
“It’s clear that a lot of people still feel more comfortable shopping from home,” the RR team says, and the current national lockdown means that browsing in shops is now impossible.
You’ll be able to order items from the brand new website now, with exclusive items and sneak peaks of upcoming releases posted on their Instagram.
