Aldi is recruiting for its ‘Wine Club’ once again, and will send wannabe wine connoisseurs loads of bottles for free.

At this point, the supermarket‘s ‘Wine Club’ is pretty legendary.

With dozens of lucky people having been recruited onto the team of testers for the past couple of years now, Aldi has this week announced that its ready to welcome its next 30 wine lovers ahead of the upcoming sunshine seasons, and is gearing up to send them a bunch of bottles for completely free of charge.

The retailer will send the 30 new club members samples from its new Spring & Summer Wine range, and in exchange, they’ll be asked to give some feedback on the products.

With applications now open and being accepted until Monday 4 March, the successful applicants will be sent three bottles of wine from Aldi’s collection – which officially launches in stores across the UK on 18 March – to test and review over an eight-week period.

All the chosen wine lovers need to do in return is share honest reviews of the wines on their social media channels using the dedicated #AldiWineClub hashtag.

Speaking as the Aldi Wine Club opens its doors to more newbies this week, Julie Ashfield, who is the Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said: “We embrace the opportunity to gather feedback from our trusted shoppers, as it helps the buying team shape wine ranges into what they are – great tasting, award-winning, and delivering on both quality and price.

“We look forward to welcoming the next 30 Aldi Wine Club members on board.”
