Last night’s Celebrity Mastermind produced the greatest answer to a question ever

BBC

Mastermind isn't usually a show that produces laughs, but last night's Celebrity version of the famous quiz had people howling.

Casualty star Amanda Henderson accidentally had viewers in hysterics by giving young climate change activist Greta Thunberg a brand new name.

The question? "The 2019 book entitled No-one is Too Small To Make A Difference is a collection of speeches made by a Swedish climate change activist. What’s her name?"

Amanda's answer? "SHARON."

The 33-year-old, who got eight answers out of nine on questions about Mulan, The Lion King and Hercules, had a bit of a slip when her knowledge of Greta Thunberg was called into action – and the nation cannot get enough of it.

Comedian Mark Smith tweeted the clip with the caption: "2020 is cancelled," which has now racked up more than 1 million views and over 60,000 likes at the time of writing.

Despite the blunder, Amanda finished the show joint second with 12 points alongside chef Levi Roots – but is now a frontrunner for 'Meme of 2020'.
