Educating Greater Manchester is returning to screens for a brand new series in 2020.
The latest instalment of Channel 4’s BAFTA award-winning documentary television show sees the crew head back to Harrop Fold school in Little Hulton for series six.
This will be the first time the Educating… programme has been a fly on the wall for the same facility more than once – having already visited the Salford school back in 2017.
2018 episodes of Educating Greater Manchester were scrapped from TV listings in the wake of allegations of ‘off-rolling’ against headmaster Drew Povey, who eventually resigned.
Harrop Fold was placed in ‘special measures’ by Ofstead later that year, convincing Channel 4 to pull the plug on the series.
Educating… has been off screens ever since, but a new batch of episodes has now been confirmed – with the team heading back to Little Hulton.
The documentary programme debuted in 2011 with Educating Essex before moving to Yorkshire, London, Cardiff and eventually Manchester.
The new series of Educating Greater Manchester will begin on November 3 on Channel 4.
Episodes will also be available on All4.
