PG Tips has launched a new tea that’s just for dogs, so even our four-legged friends can enjoy a cuppa.

Ahead of International Dog Day this Thursday, the popular UK tea brand has collaborated with award-winning dog drinks company Woof & Brew to create a new ‘English Breakwoof’ infused tea that’s suitable for dogs.

The limited-edition tea is different to your usual brew as it is to be strictly served cold.

Although it’s not set to go on sale until Thursday, the new tea is already available for pre-order on the PG Tips website, and will set you back just £9.99 a box.

Each pack contains 10 biodegradable teabags for your dog, plus 40 teabags for your own cup.

The new tea bags are part of PG Tips’ #CuppaWithYourPuppa campaign, which aims to raise money for Support Dogs – a national charity that trains assistance dogs to help people with epilepsy, and children with autism and physical disabilities.

100% of profits from the sales of ‘English Breakwoof’ tea is being donated to Support Dogs.

Danny Anderson – a fund-raising manager at Support Dogs – told The Independent that the support of PG Tips following a difficult year is an “amazing” help, adding: ” As with many small charities, the last 18 months have been horrible for fundraising [and] our income dropped by 40%.

“To have the support of other companies, especially one like PG Tips is amazing.”

“Aside from the donations, it will help create awareness of organisations like ours which aren’t able to get their names out there as easily,” he added.

Charlotte Ridley – Marketing Manager at PG Tips – continued: “English Breakwoof means that pups no longer need feel left out when their owners are relaxing with a cup of tea.”
