Our rooms may be a little on the untidier side at the moment thanks to spending more time than usual inside our own four walls, but is your bedroom this messy?
While the majority of the time, having a messy room isn’t exactly something worth bragging about, in this case, it could win you a free bed worth £400 because earlier last month, bed company BedSOS launched a nationwide competition to search for the UK’s messiest bedroom.
Announcing the competition via its website, BedSOS wrote: “Do you fancy winning a beautiful new bed, courtesy of bed and mattress specialist BedSOS? BedSOS are on the hunt for the UK’s messiest bedroom. Maybe you can longer see your floor, or the dishes from last weeks takeaway have not moved off the side table.
“It doesn’t even have to be your own bedroom [either], you might have a friend who never cleans their room, or maybe you have a messy family member.”
And now, the 2020 winners – if you can really call them that – have been unveiled.
Fancy a glimpse at some of these messy rooms then? Are you sure? Well, just don’t say we didn’t give you a heads up first.
Here’s top 10 messiest bedrooms in the UK 2020.
___
Cheltenham
Manchester
She’s apparently “waiting for her house to be refurbished”.

A teenager’s messy bedroom from every angle.
Manchester
Northamptonshire
She found this mess at one of her rental properties.
Havering
At least everything’s within reach of the bed, right?
Farhnam
Derbyshire
This is what she calls her room “on a clean day”.
And the winner is…
County Down
Wow.
Talking about the competition, Danny Richmond – Managing Director of Bed SOS – said: “Aside from how cluttered some of the entries are, we were most shocked by just how many people sent in pictures of their messy bedrooms. Looks like there’s a lot more people who could do with giving their room some TLC than you’d expect.
“Congratulations to our winner, Sara, with the messiest bedroom.
“Don’t worry though, with so many entries, clearly you’re in good company. We hope you enjoy your new bed… but it might be worth having a declutter before it arrives.”
