A massive 80s-themed bingo night is taking over one of Manchester’s biggest venues next month – and it’s all for a brilliant cause.
Boobee will host Bingo Bedlam at Manchester Central, with fast-based bingo, games, mad prizes and even a suitably retro dinner.
The brand-new event has been created to support and raise awareness for Prevent Breast Cancer, and hopes to make Manchester one of the most breast-aware cities in the country.
Guests – who are encouraged to rock up in neon lycra and leg warmers – can expect all sorts of throwback entertainment.
A special Boy George tribute act from Boy Gorgeous, renowned for his similarities to the Culture Club singer, will light up the room.
A two-course dinner will be served that will hark back to the 80s, with themed cocktails to go with it.
100 Manchester Boobees – women in Manchester that have either had, or have been affected by, breast cancer – will take to the stage for an inspiring catwalk, and will share their stories with the audience.

Experts in breast cancer prevention are joining Boobee’s event to give their insights into the charity’s mission.
Doors for Boobee’s 2022 showcase event will open at 4pm, with the event itself kicking off at 5pm, on Saturday 19 November.
Tickets for Bingo Bedlam are priced from £50, which includes dinner, and will be raising money for life-changing, preventative research, supporting Manchester-based charity Prevent Breast Cancer.
