Into The Woods, Monsters, Inc. and the sequel Monsters University are the family-favourite films you can still grab tickets for at immersive drive-in cinema ScareCity this week.
With the spooky season finally here and Halloween only a matter of days away, the much-loved drive-in cinema phenomenon that took 2020 by storm in the midst of COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns is back in Greater Manchester, and horror film fans have been flocking from far and wide to catch a scary screening.
ScareCity 2.0 has taken over a brand-new location at the Soccer Dome to bring entertainment safely to guests in their own cars from the biggest screen in the UK.
Having returned with what visitors have described as a horrific new look and witchcraft theme, ScareCity – hosted by Park N Party, the team also behind popular drive-in events SecretCity and ChristmasCity – is packed with surprises and delights.
Visitors are guided through the haunting drive-in tunnel, before parking up to watch a film.
Live actors lurking in the shadows and unexpected surprises throughout will make for a truly hair-raising experience.
Fancy it then?
There’s still a few films left to grab tickets for this week.
Although tickets for “bone-chilling scary flicks” such as Insidious, The Exorcist, Blair Witch, The Ring, and more, have all been snapped up this week, families and those who prefer to keep things a little more light-hearted can still catch screenings of Into The Woods on Wednesday 27 October, Monsters, Inc. on Thursday 28 October, and the popular 2013 sequel, Monsters University on Friday 29 October.
Even people who got the chance to experience ScareCity in 2020 will still be in for a shock this year, as the new-for-2021 ‘Scare Zone’ is filled with photo opportunities for those brave enough walk through.
There’s a fully-licensed bar and a selection of food vendors on site throughout the week.
Tickets are priced at £40 per vehicle.
You can find the full schedule of films, and book your tickets for ScareCity 2.0 via the Park N Party website here.
