The lineup for Stockport’s famous Moovin Festival has officially been revealed this week.
Rap royalty Naughty By Nature will headline the Etherow Country Park event on August bank holiday – with the hip-hop trio confirmed for a rare UK appearance.
Dance titans Basement Jaxx, rap pioneer Eek A Mouse, UK favourites Asian Dub Foundation, and disco don Todd Terje are also confirmed – alongside Sugar Hill Gang, Mr Scruff, Krafty Kuts, Graeme Park, DJ Woody, Craig Charles, Stanton Warriors, K Klass and The Mouse Outfit.
An eclectic mix of support acts have also been confirmed – including Afrobeat collectives, beatboxing violinists, and the Elvis fronted Nirvana tribute band Elvana.
Moovin will take over the eco-friendly Whitebottom Farm on August 27 – 29 for a full weekend in stunning Compstall countryside.
Situated just 30 minutes away from Manchester, the festival is described as an “adult wonderland” – featuring a Barn Stage (an open sided cow shed with bales of hay) and luxury camping options such as bell tents.
Moovin is also hosting a summer barn party in July – functioning as a warm-up for the big event one month later.
