A huge Bonfire Night celebration is planned for Mayfield Park in Manchester city centre, in partnership with Escape to Freight Island.

The massive event will feature two fireworks displays, with entertainment, DJs and walkabout performers.

It’s a chance to see huge fireworks in the region after Manchester City Council axed all the free council-organised events over ‘escalating costs’.

Manchester’s newest park and the neighbouring street food and events giant will be partnering up for a spectacular display on Friday 4 November.

The first session will take place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm with fireworks at 7pm.
