It’s really happening – an Oasis reunion tour is on the way in 2025, with Liam and Noel Gallagher officially getting the band back together.
The Britpop icons, one of Manchester’s finest and most famous musical exports, are set to play 17 massive shows across the UK and Ireland.
The Oasis reunion tour will, of course, include some shows in their hometown, with five gigs at Heaton Park on the list.
The rock legends announced their return to the live music scene just before the 30th anniversary of the release of their debut album, Definitely Maybe.
Demand for tickets will be massive, with a pre-sale offer crashing the Oasis website and the band already adding three extra dates to the tour.
If you’re one of many people who will be braving the great ticket buying war over the weekend, we’ve rounded up some essential information you might need.
Good luck out there everyone.
As Heaton Park has no seating or tiers, general admission prices are the same for all tickets for the Oasis hometown shows.
In other cities, where they’re playing stadiums, you can get tickets for as little as £65 (plus booking fee) for seating.
Here are the ticket prices for Manchester:
The pre-sale for Oasis tickets will run between 7pm and 10pm on Friday 30 August.
General sale tickets will then go live at 9am on Saturday 31 August and will run until it sells out (so probably about four seconds).
You can get your Oasis ticket here.
Remember you can only buy four tickets per person.
The official sites to buy Oasis tickets will be the usual culprits – Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours, and See Tickets.
Be extremely wary of buying tickets from any other platform or via resale as scams are likely to be rife for such a popular event.
Be smart too – you can sign up and register with your chosen ticket agent ahead of time, which will help with how busy the websites will be during the sale.
Note that there is an age restriction for the Oasis gig at Heaton Park – no under 14s will be allowed and all under 16’s need to be accompanied by an adult (18+).
* new dates
Fans had to register for pre-sale, with a select few then receiving a pre-sale code through a ballot process.
All pre-sale emails have now been sent out – so if you’ve not got one, it’s game over until the general sale for you. So sorry.
We’ll be back bright and early tomorrow to bring you all the Oasis ticket updates as they happen.
