Movie scores and soundtracks – when a film has a good one, you know it.

Like the soundtrack from Pulp Fiction, Guardians of the Galaxy and Trainspotting, and scores like Interstellar’s, Star Wars’ and of course, the 1982 sci-fi classic, Blade Runner.

Composed by Vangelis, one of the leading godfathers of synth back in the 70s and 80s, this cult classic film’s score is known and loved by many for its jazzy, electronic sound creating its intensely moody sci-fi atmosphere, perfect for this neo-noir tale.

Watching the film on your telly and hearing the music is one thing, but imagine watching the classic on a massive HD screen, while Vangelis’ synthesiser-led score is played out by a live orchestra.

Arriving at the O2 Apollo Manchester on 19 September 2024, ‘Blade Runner Live’ is a brand new way to experience this iconic film like never before.

Of course, played on the big screen will be the 2007 Final Cut version of the classic film. If you don’t know why we don’t watch the original theatrical release anymore and are confused about the different versions of Blade Runner, here’s a quick explanation.
