You can watch the Euros from private ‘beach huts’ in Manchester this summer
"No rowdies bumping into you, just your own private spot."
It’s been a long time coming, but Euro 2021 is officially kicking off next weekend.
Gareth Southgate’s England squad will face World Cup 2018 finalists Croatia in their first match of the highly-anticipated tournament on June 13 – but if you’re looking for a unique way to watch all the action up close, then Manchester’s newly-launched Mediterranean hangout has got you covered.
Great Northern Beach Club is well and truly going all out for the Euros.
Not only will there be a huge projector screening all of the important matches for footie fans in the main bar of the Sunset Lounge – which is a seaside-style resort slap-bang in the middle of Manchester city centre – but they’re also taking bookings for exclusive private beach huts.
For those keen to soak up the atmosphere in style, these bookable private beach huts are ideal for “long summer nights and memorable moments with your mates”, each featuring a 42’ TV screen, a welcome drinks package, and your own personal host.
The bar describes it as “no rowdies bumping into you, just your own private spot.”
Priced from £60 – £120 per hut, depending on the event, each person will receive a Ruby Sunset cocktail or a pint of San Miguel, plus a shot of limoncello.
The Sunset Lounge bar also boasts a wide range of summer drinks, including an assortment of fresh fruity cocktails, draught beers and vitamin-infused health drinks.
Live entertainment is also a Sunset Lounge staple – with parties featuring bands, saxophones and singers. DJs will be spinning Balearic beats right across the weekends.
You can find more information about the Sunset Lounge and bookable beach huts via the Great Northern Beach Club website here.
