Manchester police appeal for help to find ‘high-risk’ missing man from Wythenshawe

GMP launched an appeal for info on Sunday evening - with the missing 27-year-old described as having "severe" mental health issues.

Greater Manchester Police are asking the public for information on the whereabouts of a missing man from Wythenshawe with “severe mental health issues”.

The last confirmed sighting of Jonathan Windsor was on Friday (26 June) afternoon at North Manchester General Hospital in Crumpsall.

GMP took to social media on Sunday evening to launch an appeal for help – with the 27-year-old being described as “high risk”.

The public are being told to ring 999 if they see Jonathan and not to approach him.

A police statement reads: “Jonathan has severe mental health issues and officers are urging people not to approach him if they see him but to immediately call 999.

“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and the risk he could pose to the public if approached.

“He was last seen at around 4.30pm on Friday 26 June 2020 leaving Park House, North Manchester General Hospital.

“Anyone who sees Jonathan should not approach him but call 999 and quote incident number 2352 of 26/06/2020.”
