Olivia Rodrigo announces massive Manchester gig at brand new Co-op Live arena
She'll hit the brand new stage in May next year.
Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo has just announced a huge gig in Manchester as part of her GUTS world tour.
The star, who caused a stir at the VMAs last night with a performance that saw the huge stage ‘malfunction’, will visit our city in May 2024.
She’s set to perform at the Co-op Live arena, Manchester’s soon-to-open music venue, which will be the largest in the UK when it opens next year.
Olivia Rodrigo is one of the biggest names in pop music, rocketing to fame with her four-time Platinum debut album SOUR.
She stormed to the top of the UK chats with singles including Good 4 U, Drivers License, and Vampire.
And now she’s been announced as the latest huge name to perform at Manchester’s landmark new £365m music space.
She joins already-announced artists The Jonas Brothers, Niall Horan and Eric Clapton in the venue’s opening season.
The Co-op Live arena will have an innovative bowl design and a large standing floor, bringing audiences closer to artists, plus state-of-the-art acoustics and impressive environmental credentials.
Olivia Rodrigo has announced the GUTS tour in support of her album of the same name, which is set to debut at number one in the UK charts.
Co-op members will have access to a pre-sale for Olivia Rodrigo from 10am on Wednesday 20 September, with registration sale from 3pm on Thursday 21 September.
More information on how to register for the Co-op Member presale and registration sale can be found on the Co-op Live website.
