Manchester’s most epic club night returns to Albert Hall this weekend
Never forget the rave in the toilets too...

La Discotheque, one of the world’s best club nights, is making its return to Manchester this weekend and will be taking over the Albert Hall.
Famed for throwing immersive disco and house parties, La Discotheque will be heavy on the confetti, the feathers, and the sequins, as well as its unrivalled production.
This Saturday, the event will be hosting the legendary Kenny Dope, the La Discotheque Orchestra, Jeremy Underground, O’Flynn, Heléna Star, Guy Williams (Flash), BB (Supernature) and What She Said.
Oh, and don’t forget the La Piscotheque party down in the loos…
The news of the event’s return to Manchester follows an impressive set at London’s Drumsheds opening party (that’s the new super club built inside an old IKEA).
There’ll be an 18-piece La Discotheque Orchestra with brass, strings, percussion and vocalists breathing new life into iconic disco anthems.
And the whole roster is packed with disco and house legends, like four-time Grammy-nominated producer Kenny Dope, also one half of Masters At Work.
He’s also behind significant releases such as The Bomb! & Get Up (Clap Your Hands).
La Discotheque’s homecoming gig is taking over the grade II-listed Albert Hall, a converted Wesleyan chapel in the heart of the city centre.
The creators of the iconic night say: “Through unity, and freedom of expression, we give music lovers what they want: a space to be beautifully and unapologetically themselves…
“We are family, I’ve got all my sisters with me.”
