Brickhouse Social have announced a special event for International Women’s Day 2024 where they’ll be celebrating the power of females through the power of music with an all-female DJ set.
The popular sports bar, pool hall and club venue (Kable MCR) keeps expanding its horizons year after year, with its three-storey venue offering everything from live music and sports screenings to stand-up, bingo and all sorts of other entertainment throughout the year.
Now scheduled to host their very own celebration of International Women’s Day this year, Brickhouse will be spotlighting an all-female lineup of DJs from around the Greater Manchester area from 7pm-2am on Friday, 8 March.
An all-nighter of non-stop local love for our talented musical queens — say no more.
With two floors of performing artists, DJs and singer-songwriters, the entirely female lineup will take over the venue with a specially curated evening celebrating women, music and our community.
From 9pm, the main bar will host a giant party with a top-notch set by a number of artists we’re forbidden from divulging to you but trust us, you won’t be disappointed.
All we’ll say is that they’ve got some of the city’s finest DJs coming along to bring the Brickhouse down and guests will be partying the night away until 2am to playlists curated with help from two of the very best selectors in the city, Miriam Vaughan and Beth Donovan.
Guests will also have the opportunity to support the incredible work of The Pankhurst Trust and Manchester Women’s Aid with donations at the door, and we heartily recommend that you do.
As always with this wonderful place, drinks will be nice and affordable, there’ll be plenty of pizza slices going to fuel all that dancing and we promise nothing but good vibes on 8 March.
The best part of all is tickets are absolutely free and you can grab yours HERE now.
Brickhouse Social also happens to be one of the best places to watch live sports in Manchester city centre at the minute too. Rugby, anyone?
