Liam Gallagher’s son Gene will support Oasis as part of their 2025 UK reunion tour, a close connection has reportedly revealed.

Gene Gallagher and his indie rock band, Villanelle, are set to warm-up the crowd before the two Gallagher brothers take to the stage to perform to massive crowds across the UK next summer – including several nights at Manchester‘s iconic Heaton Park.

The 23-year-old musician was the opening act for his dad’s Definitely Maybe 30 Years Tour earlier this summer, so supporting Oasis on their headline tour next year would be very fitting.

The band are currently unsigned, but are scheduled to release their first official single this November, right in time to practice for the upcoming summer shows.

It’s no surprise that Liam’s son has pursued a musical career, as not only is his dad part of one of Britain’s most successful and influential bands of all time, but his mum, Nicole Appleton, was also a part of British girl group All Saints.

An exclusive source who spoke to MailOnline stated: “[Gene’s] been telling a few people and he’s really excited.

“He loves playing with his dad and knows it will be huge for his music career.”

The same source also claimed that the Gallagher brothers’ children helped to kick-start the reunion discussions, saying: “It hadn’t dawned on Noel and Liam until recently that their own kids had never properly seen them together.”

If you want to familiarise yourself with Gene Gallagher’s band, then you’re in luck, as the group are heading out on a UK tour later this year.
