A Capri-inspired beach club has opened in the heart of Manchester – with real sand and cabanas
A taste of the Mediterranean slap bang in the city centre
A pop-up beach club has appeared right in the heart of Manchester city centre, transporting you straight to the Mediterranean.
The Capri Beach Club has been kitted out with cabanas, boardwalks, swing chairs and even real sand.
The chic bar, which has appeared at Exchange Square outside Selfridges, promises to recreate the ambience of a real Capri beach club.
There’s a DJ playing chilled-out beats from the 80s up to the latest chart-toppers, plus resident saxophonist Elliot Slater, who has graced the stages at some of the biggest clubs in Ibiza.
As you lounge back on luxury seating, you can work your way through the summer cocktail list that includes Aperol Spritzes, margaritas, bellinis and espresso martinis.
There are street food vendors perched around the edges of Capri Beach Club.
You can order wood-fired pizzas with fresh toppings from Inferno, plus chicken wings, loaded curry chips, mozzarella sticks and loads more.
And those with a sweet tooth can tuck into Nutella and Biscoff crepes, Carte D’or ice cream cones, and churros drizzled in hot chocolate sauce.
There are two bookable VIP areas too, which are undercover beneath wooden gazebos, surrounded by soft linen curtains.
The VIP experience includes table service and has space for up to 14 guests.
You can book your VIP table here.
The Capri Beach Club opened on Friday 21 July and will stay in Manchester until Monday 28 August.
Its opening hours are 11am until 11pm.
