Looking for lunch ideas? A popular street food restaurant is giving you the chance to scran its stunning bao buns for just £1 each.
After bursting onto the flourishing local food scene back in March of last year, and taking over a three-storey space inside the iconic Great Northern Warehouse, just off Deansgate in the heart of the city centre, Suki Suki has easily gone on to become one of Mancs’ favourite places to head to if they want to grab a quick bite to eat.
The venue’s extensive menu is full of market-style street food dishes, all inspired by the bustling streets of East Asia.
Coming from the same family behind beloved Manchester restaurant, Namaste Nepal, the Pan Asian Street food eatery is known and loved for its fluffy bao buns, flavourful noodles, and fresh dumplings, alongside a menu full of loads of fun cocktails and craft beer.
The stunning venue is housed within an exposed brick archway, and is delicately decked-out with Herringbone booth seating, high bar stools, ambient lighting, and rattan finishings too.
But why exactly is it launching the unmissable £1 offer? Well, in case you didn’t know, this Thursday (22 August) is National Bao Day, and in a bid to properly mark this tasty occasion, Suki Suki will be slashing the price of its popular bao buns from 12pm to 6pm.
Available while stocks last, there’ll be loads of options of the fan-favourite buns to choose from.
For meat lovers, you can choose from flavours like Korean Chicken, Teriyaki Pork Belly, and Hoisin Duck, while seafood fans can take their pick from delicacies such as Soft Shell Crab, and veggies and vegans can tuck into Spicy Tofu baos.
Fancy it then?
If a £1 bao sounds right up your street, then you’ll want to run not walk down to Suki Suki at Great Northern from 12pm tomorrow (22 August) and get stuck in.
