Krispy Kreme to give first person at new Manchester Arndale store free doughnuts for a year
The sweetest prize there is.
A brand-new Krispy Kreme store is opening in Manchester this week, and the first person to walk through its doors will get a real treat.
How does a year’s supply of free doughnuts sound?
Fans of the popular doughnut bakery chain can already satisfy their sugar cravings from several Krispy Kreme locations in Greater Manchester, with a huge drive-thru and store in Trafford Park, a kiosk in Manchester Piccadilly station, and from countless supermarkets across the region.
But now, Krispy Kreme is finally launching a permanent store in Manchester city centre, and it’s opening up in Manchester Arndale tomorrow.
Located on the upper floor inside the city centre’s main shopping mall, Krispy Kreme is celebrating the opening of the new store with a Manchester bee-themed doughnut that will exclusively first available from the Manchester Arndale branch for a limited time only.
The new ‘Bee Doughnut’ has a mouthwatering millionaire’s filling, is dipped in yellow coating with dark chocolate icing, and decorated to look like a bee.
Setting you back just £2.95 each, the ‘Bee Doughnut’ will initially be available from the new Manchester Arndale location exclusively for the first three days, before it then becomes available in other Manchester locations – but only for three weeks.
That’s not the only reason for doughnut fans to get excited about the new opening though, as those keen enough to queue could be in with the chance of winning one of the sweetest prizes there is – free doughnuts for a year.
The first person in the queue and through the doors of the Manchester Arndale store on opening day (Friday 14 April) will win a year’s supply of doughnuts, and will get to choose their own dozen box every month for 12 months.
The first dozen customers will also receive exclusive money-can’t-buy Manchester-themed Krispy Kreme merchandise too.

The new Krispy Kreme store in Manchester Arndale opens at 10am on Friday 14 April, but queues start from 9am, so you’ll need to head on down there early if you don’t want to miss out.
