Lush has released a Saltburn bath bomb inspired by that NSFW scene

Genuinely.

This is not a headline we ever thought we’d be writing, but maybe it’s one we should have expected?

And yes, you read it right.

Lush has actually decided to release a Saltburn-themed bath bomb that’s inspired by what is, by far, one of the most talked-about and internet-breaking scenes is recent cinema history… and a very NSFW scene, at that.

If you’ve not had the chance to see the film phenomenon that is Saltburn just yet, then we’ll do our best not to spoil it for you, especially as we’d likely get flagged for inappropriate content if we did, but for those who have watched it, then we don’t even need to go into too much detail anyway, as you already know exactly what scene we’re talking about.

Let’s just say, there’s a now-infamous scene around half way through the Emerald Fennell-directed film that involves the two leading men, Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi, and a bath tub.

And it’s this particular scene that Lush has taken inspiration from for its newest creation.

Aptly named the ‘Saltbomb’, the cosmetics company‘s new limited-edition bath bomb promises to create bathwater “fit for a Hollywood A-lister”.

‘Saltbomb’ is described by the brand as being the perfect blend of sea salt and coconut powder that’s packed full of moisture and minerals to produce a soothing and creamy milk when added to water, all with the intent of creating a tub fit for an aristocrat.

This salt doesn’t burn though, however, as according to Lush, it’s mineral-rich and is blended with a fragrance that it shares with the brand’s already-popular moisturising bubble bar, ‘Milky Bath’.

A description for the product on the Lush website reads: “Feel like Hollywood royalty with this milky bath bomb that never kills the groove, leaving the bather with silky smooth bath water they’ll want to treasure every last drop of.”

Very clever, Lush.
