It’s been one hell of a year.

We all know that’s an understatement that barely needs saying at this point, but with the world as we once knew it having been flipped on its head back in March thanks to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it’s worth repeating again – it’s been one hell of a year.

So it’s a good job we’ve had television and streaming platforms to keep us sane and entertained, right?

Of course they’re there for us every year, but we can probably all agree that we’ve really come to appreciate getting lost in a TV show or series more than ever in 2020.

And from chefs setting their kitchen on fire, to NSFW Grandmas, and bizarre pronunciations of kitchen appliances, British TV has provided us with some truly brilliant moments this year, and luckily, someone has taken to Twitter – @thediyora – to create a thread compiling these iconic moments so we won’t go forgetting them any time soon.

The TV has been as crazy as the year, by the looks of it.

There’s 27 moments making up this truly hilarious thread, but we’ll just include a few of the gems that made us belly laugh the most, so head on over to Twitter here if you want to feast your eyes on the full list.
