Fans of the ever-popular sweet treat Lotus Biscoff are turning to this simple recipe to make ice cream from the comfort of their own home during lockdown.
Consider yourself a Lotus Biscoff fan? You’d be joining a pretty big fan club if you did.
Lotus Biscoff has gone from what used to simply be a small biscuit to accompany your coffee, to taking on a life of it’s own these last few years. It’s fair to say there isn’t much you can’t get topped or flavoured with Lotus Biscoff nowadays and there’s even an ice cream recipe gaining popularity at the moment too.
Sure, you could just nip to your local supermarket and pick up a tub of Lotus’ pre-made Biscoff ice cream or a pack of Biscoff ice cream lollies, along with some of the indulgent Biscoff Sauce and spread to go with it, but where’s the fun in that?
If you’re looking to give ice cream making a go for yourself this weekend, then this popular recipe is currently doing the rounds on social media and it sounds absolutely delicious.
By far best part about this recipe is that it couldn’t be easier to make.
Ever heard of the concept of no-churn ice cream? Well, it’s essentially a simple way to make ice cream from the comfort of your own kitchen without the need for a proper ice cream churner, so for this recipe you’ll only need a total of five ingredients.
You’ll also need a mixer – either a mixer machine or electronic hand whisk – but you can also just use a simple hand whisk if you’re prepared to put in a bit of elbow grease to achieve the best results.
Once frozen and ready to serve, you can also top it off by drizzling on some Lotus Biscoff sauce for an extra indulgent experience.
Our mouths are watering just reading this – we’re definitely giving it a try this weekend.
