Peter Kay has officially been announced as the opening act for Manchester’s new Co-op Live arena – and he’s sticking to his affordable ticket price policy and he’s even added an extra date.
The Bolton-born comedy legend has already sold out more than a hundred shows across the UK, including a multi-year-long-run at the AO Arena.
And now he’s ready to take to the stage at the city’s soon-to-open Co-op Live, an arena that will be the largest in the country with a 23,500 capacity.
He’ll be performing at the venue on Tuesday 23 April as the very first act they’ll welcome — but that’s not all.
Just like with his initial ‘Better Late Than Never’ tour announcement, Peter Kay is sticking to his promise to keep tickets affordable and is even tacking on an extra gig on Saturday, 24 April due to overwhelming demand.
The comic has pledged to keep prices the same level they were 12 years ago when he was last on tour.
That means that tickets for Peter Kay’s Co-op Live show will be priced from just £35.
It’s basically unheard of for an arena show of any kind to be priced this low, never mind a superstar like Peter Kay, who has sold out countless arena shows in his career.
Peter Kay will now perform on 23 and 24 April 2024, with exclusive pre-sale access to Co-op members from 10am on 21 February.
General sale tickets will then go on sale at 10am on 23 February through See Tickets HERE.

“We’re creating an arena that is truly part of the community around it, and having Peter as our opening act is a perfect reminder of that.”
