The largest and most popular chicken wing festival is lathering up for 2020 and after a successful debut in Manchester last year, they're coming back!
Wing Fest will swing its doors open for a second year running in Manchester city centre on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August – slap back in the middle of summer 2020.
Last year's North West debut was a huge success for the crew behind Wing Fest, packing out some prime land at the bottom of First Street in the city centre – and they're heading straight back to the same plot for their second stint.
The festival is large enough to cater for 5,000 ticket holders over the weekend, and will have an array of fun activities to get involved in as part of your ticket.
This includes axe throwing, live blues and reggae bands, fair ground rides, bourbon masterclasses, BBQ demos, magicians and much more.
The event will also host its two famous annual challenges... The Lava Wing Challenge and Frank's Red Hot Wing Eating Challenge.
Above are last year's winners of 'Best buffalo wings' and 'Best wild wing', as voted for by thousands of attendees.
This year, Wing Fest want to go even bigger and are hoping to make the 2020 edition one to remember with more activities and more traders.
Over the coming weeks, we will be regularly releasing new information on Wing Fest Manchester 2020 on our website – so keep your eyes peeled.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday 28th February –make sure you RSVP to the Facebook event here.
