There’s a new £5 million woodland theme park opening in Cheshire

A wholesome day out.

In just a matter of months, a brand new £5 million woodland theme park will be opening to the public and it looks ace.

BeWILDerwood is located right on our doorsteps in South Cheshire, is set across 70 acres of impressive woodland and will be opening its doors on 23rd May.

This isn’t your regular theme park though, it’s pretty unique. Not only will there be no junk food for sale, but none of the rides will feature any technology, so it promises to be one of the most wholesome days out you can have.

There will be a choice of two eateries on site, serving farm fresh produce but for families looking to save a few pennies, you are welcome to bring your own packed lunches and picnic food.

The land is based on the popular BeWILDerwood book series by Tom Blofiend, but the Cheshire park isn’t the first of its kind. The first BeWILDerwood attraction opened in Norfolk back in 2007, making the Cheshire land the second to open in the UK.

Tickets to BeWILDerwood start at £10.50 and vary according to height and age, with children under 92cm able to access for free.
