Aldi is bringing back its viral hanging egg chair, but this time it’s for cats
The cat egg chair is made from hand-woven natural wicker, which hangs from a strong metal frame to keep your furry pal safe and secure.
It’s not really an exaggeration to say that people go mad for Aldi’s hanging egg chair.
The Rattan Hanging Egg Chair – which has been seen in the homes of cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch and even Stacey Solomon – is no doubt one of the budget supermarket chain’s best-selling items. So much so, that’s it’s near impossible to get your hands on, often being sold out online and nowhere to be seen in store.
When it does come back in stock, it gets snapped up within minutes.
According to the product description on the Aldi website, the Rattan Hanging Egg Chair is “timeless”, can add “a touch of style to your indoor or outdoor spaces” and has a “strong frame and soft cushions allow you to relax comfortably for hours anywhere you choose”.
The description also adds that it’s the “perfect for a comfy corner” and “provides a choice of cosy spots to spend lazy afternoons”.
To cut a long story short, it’s pretty popular.
But if you’ve not had much luck in securing the best seat in the house for yourself, at least now your cat can, as Aldi has this week announced the launch of a brand-new Eco Pet collection as part of its beloved ‘Specialbuys’ range, and while it also includes delights such as a cat igloo, recycled dog toys, and bamboo pet bowls, let’s be honest, it’s the cat-sized egg chair that’s the star of the show.
The cat egg chair is made from hand-woven natural wicker, which hangs from a strong metal frame to keep your furry pal safe and secure, and there’s also a removable inner cushion too for added cosiness.
If you’re keen to join the club of people who’ll presumably be clawing at the opportunity to snap one of these chairs up, it’s important to note that you’ll only be able to buy it online from 23rd May for £34.99, so don’t bother checking the trusty ‘middle aisle’ in your local Aldi branch.
If the human version of the chair is anything to go by, the cat chair will sell out fast, so your best bet is to set an alarm and get clicking fast to avoid dissapointment.
