You can spend the night on a luxury yacht with space for 10 guests… in Salford
With prices from £370 per night.
Ever fancied cruising along on your own luxury yacht, the warm water of the Mediterranean lapping beneath you, stunning islands cruising past you? What about your own luxury yacht?
Of course, we all have… but what about if that luxury yacht was in Salford?
It’s not quite the same scenery as the sort of turquoise waters and white sandy beaches we all see on Netflix’s Below Deck, but the actual boat in question is pretty fancy.
There’s a 130ft classic yacht moored in Clippers Quay, and it’s available to rent through Airbnb.
Your views here will be more Old Trafford than Old Town of Dubrovnik, with Manchester United‘s ground just a short walk away.
Known as Jacamar, the Salford yacht has space for up to 10 guests across three double en suite cabins and some extra fold-out beds.
It has a huge 800 sq ft main lounge space with cream designer sofas, and a massive dining area with a bespoke oval glass and granite dining table.
Then the wheelhouse has been adapted to provide a snug TV lounge, with panoramic windows.
The galley kitchen has original features like the ship’s oven, combined with new, high-end Siematic kitchen and Smeg built-in appliances.
There are three en suite cabins, and the whole boat is decorated with artwork and photography throughout the boat is by award-winning artists Anthony Crook, Guy Farrow and Amelia Troubridge.
Jacamar may scream special occasion, but it’s not a party boat, with a strict policy against large groups, stag parties and hen dos.
