An immersive Halloween cinema will be taking over one of Manchester’s newest venues
An evening of haunting entertainment.
Want to immerse yourself in spooky season with a touch of sophistication? Well, one of the city’s newest venues has got you covered.
Now that we’re only a couple of days away from Halloween itself, plenty of frightfully-themed events have will be coming to Greater Manchester, with the return of Scare City, a Halloween party full of corgis and cockapoos, and even a pop-up indoor pumpkin patch being just a few of them.
If scary walk-through trails or massive illuminated monsters aren’t really your thing though, then you might want to make your way down to one of Manchester‘s newest venues to catch a cult-classic horror film instead then.
Giving film fans the chance to enjoy something a little different this Halloween, an alternative immersive cinema experience called Silent-ology will be taking over Arch 19 – which is part of the Found neighbourhood, nestled in Red Bank – next week, and embracing the spooky spirit with a showing of Nosferatu.
The 1922 silent vampire tale will be shown ahead of its remake being released later this year.
The iconic horror film will be screened in the soft glow of candle-lit surrounds, with a soul-stirring soundtrack played by a live string quartet to add an atmosphere that matches all its shocking twists and turns.
Taking place at Arch 19 next Thursday on Halloween night itself (31 October) from 7pm until 9:30pm, tickets for Silent-ology are now on sale, and start at just £6.13 for general admission – with a welcome drink included in the ticket price.
“The spooky season is all about people being able to come together, get involved, and enjoy being scared for one night each year,” commented Gemma Price, who is the Managing Director at Found. “You don’t need to be a member of the Found collective to attend either, we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone down to Arch 19 and experiencing Nosferatu as you’ve never seen before.”
Silent-ology is also just one of many dates on Found’s autumn calendar, meaning there’s something for all the family to get involved with.
