The Hundred is nearly upon once again and with just over a month and a half to go until play gets underway, the official lineup of live music has been revealed in full, and there are some big names on the cards this year.

Now in its third year, one of the most fast-paced tournaments in cricket is returning to tour the UK this August and aside from the action itself, The Hundred has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best days out you could hope for all-round, not least because of the incredible music on offer.

As well as eight different men’s and women’s teams playing 32 matches throughout the month — including our very own Manchester Originals, of course — you’ll have the luxury of seeing a different musical act every single day, as well as plenty more entertainment throughout the competition.

Teaming up with BBC Introducing for the tournament, you can expect the likes of Yazmin Lacey, The Royston Club, Antony Szmierek and more; we’ve even got Leigh legends The Lottery Winners set to play the Emirates Old Trafford for the second year running.

The Lottery Winners join this year’s The Hundred’s lineup of live music, playing the final Manchester date.

Playing on Wednesday, 23 August on the home turf of Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, The Lottery Winners are returning as conquering heroes following their number one album, A.R.T (Anxiety Replacement Therapy).

The local lot absolutely killed it when we went along last year and with even more music to play and a bigger following this time around, this show’s sure to be a belter.

As if that wasn’t enough, British D&B and electronic group Rudimental will be headlining The Hundred Final at Lord’s in London to close out the tournament on 27 August.
